Knowing the Truth
 is Good News

"The Gospel is the news that Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over all His enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy. God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. The essence of faith is being satisfied with all that God is for us in Jesus” - John Piper

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

Much is said about truth and whether we can know it. Jesus made one of the boldest statements in all history when, in the gospel of John chapter 14, verse 6, He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

One man put it this way, "Jesus was either exactly who He said He was or He was a lunatic after the order of someone who calls himself a peanut!"

Here's the truth, not because we say it, but because God Himself says it.

God loves you and wants you to experience His peace and eternal life.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -- John 3:16
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." -- John 6:47

Everyone of us is a sinner and separated from God.
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." -- Romans 3:23

Nobody can save themselves.
"Whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he is guilty of all." -- James 2:10

Jesus paid the price for all our sins.
". . .we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." -- Hebrews 10:10
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him [Jesus] the iniquity [sin] of us all." -- Isaiah 53:6

Eternal life is free, it cannot be earned.
" . . . the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." -- Romans 6:23
"By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." -- Ephesians 2:8,9

God's gift of forgiveness is received by faith.
"Believe [trust] on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved . . . " -- Acts 16:31

This gift can be yours.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock [at the door of your life]. If any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him. . ." -- Revelation 3:20

To receive God's gift of salvation, ask Him now; here's how. . . It's as easy as ABC!
Admit your need
.
"Lord, I am a sinner."
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the dead.
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." -- Romans 10:9&10
Confess your need for Jesus to take control of your life.
Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and take control your life. (receive Him as Lord and Savior).
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." -- 1 John 1:9

Welcome To God's Family!
"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. . ." -- John 1:12
